Our dedicated Practice Manager is Fiona’s daughter Rebecca McRostie, and close family friend Natalie Malik is our efficient Operations Manager.

Fiona is the Principal Solicitor and founder of FJS Lawyers. With extensive experience in family law, wills, and estates, she leads the firm with a strong commitment to providing down-to-earth, practical legal support that clients can truly rely on.
The feedback we get most often is how warm and approachable Fiona is, and how at ease clients feel during their meetings with her. She offers genuine compassion and understanding when it’s needed most—but she’s also tough, direct, and fiercely determined when it comes to fighting for her clients. Fiona doesn’t sugar-coat things or tell people what they want to hear—she believes in giving clear, honest advice and standing firm when it matters most.
Natalie Malik
Legal Operations Manager
Natalie is our Legal Operations Manager and the steady hand that keeps everything on track behind the scenes. She is the driving force behind the day-to-day operations at FJS Lawyers, making sure our systems run smoothly, the team stays organised, and our clients enjoy a seamless experience from start to finish.
With nearly five years at FJS Lawyers, Natalie has grown alongside the firm and played an integral role in its development. Her attention to detail, reliability, and calm presence create a solid foundation that supports the entire team. Whether she’s coordinating schedules, streamlining processes, or quietly solving problems before they arise, Natalie ensures that everything operates efficiently and without fuss.

Rebecca is our Practice Manager and truly the heart of the FJS family. With a natural gift for building strong client relationships and making people feel at ease, Rebecca plays a vital role in shaping the friendly, client-first culture we’re so proud of. Her warmth, empathy, and commitment to going the extra mile means our clients are always greeted with a friendly face and genuine support during what can often be a stressful time.
